Kook, Peter

Peter Kook completed his veterinary degree and small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Germany. After working some years as a staff clinician in private practice, he then completed a small animal internal medicine residency at the University of Zurich, Switzerland and the University of Georgia, USA. Following his residency, he joined the faculty at the Clinic for Small Animal Internal Medicine, University of Zurich where he also obtained his postdoctoral lecturing qualification ('Habilitation'). Peter shares his time teaching students and residents, seeing cases and pursuing clinical research focused on small animal gastroenterology.
