Hopman, Nonke
Nonke Hopman studied veterinary medicine from 2005 until 2012, which she passed with honour. From 2009-2010, she did an additional research internship on Clostridium difficile in pigs. Nonke worked as companion animal veterinarian in several companion animal clinics in the Netherlands from 2012-2014. From 2014-2019, she worked on and successfully defended her PhD on “Antimicrobial Stewardship and Pets” at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology – Clinical Infectiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University. During her PhD she completed a Postgraduate master in Epidemiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Utrecht University. Currently she works as a Postdoc researcher on the development of an e-learning module on antimicrobial stewardship for Dutch companion animal veterinarians.
